Badania zużycia powłok przeprowadzono pod kątem zastosowania w oryginalnym łożysku foliowym smarowanym wodą. Na podstawie analizy wyników wyłoniono trzy powłoki do potencjalnego zastosowania w łożyskach foliowych smarowanych wodą.
