PublikacjaW komunikacie zaprezentowano wstępne wyniki badań dotyczących wpływu kompleksu [Mn{SSi(OBu-t)3}2(phen)] na właściwości wulkanizatów gumowych z kauczuku naturalnego. Przeprowadzone badania sugerują, że chociaż związek ten nie działa bezpośrednio jako przyspieszacz, to aktywuje wulkanizację przy użyciu tiuramu.

PublikacjaReakcja silanotiolanu manganu(II) z pirydyną i jej metylowymi pochodnymi prowadzi do uzyskania heteroleptycznych kompleksów o tym samym rdzeniu MnNO2S2, ale o różnym typie strukturalnym. W przypadku posłużenia się pirydyną i 2-metylopirydyną uzyskano układy zawierające dwie cząsteczki alkoholu przykoordynowane do centrum metalicznego. Z kolei w przypadku 3- i 4-metylopirydyny funkcję S,O-donorów spełniają reszty silanotiolanowe.

Silanethiolates - synthesis, properties and structures.
PublikacjaW pracy wskazano podstawowe drogi syntezy oraz podano zwięzłą charakterystykę silanotiolanów - w większości związków kompleksowych posiadających jako główny ligand grupę silanotiolanową, na ogół (t-BuO)3SiS. Przy pomocy odpowiednio dobranych przykładów zilustrowano właściwości tych związków - wskazano ciekawsze elementy struktury molekularnej oraz specyficzne cechy spektralne.

Isostructural zinc and cadmium silanethiolates with bridging biimidazole co-ligands – Enhanced luminescence of zinc complex
PublikacjaTwo dinuclear complexes of zinc and cadmium with silanethiolate and bridging biimidazole ligands are characterized by X-ray diffraction, FT-IR, UV–Vis and emission spectroscopies. The complexes 1 (Zn) and 2 (Cd) are isostructural but exhibit different electronic structures and different character of frontier HOMO orbitals as indicated by DFT calculations.
