Evaluation of immune responses in sheep induced by DNA immunization with genes encoding GRA1, GRA4, GRA6 and GRA7 antigens of Toxoplasma gondii
PublikacjaW niniejszej pracy oszacowano odpowiedź immunologiczną owiec szczepionych domięśniowo szczepionkami DNA zawierającymi geny kodujące cztery antygeny granul o dużej gęstości (GAR1, GRA4, GRA6 oraz GRA7) Toxoplasma gondii. Wykazano, iż wykorzystanie DNA plazmidu pGRA7 indukuje znaczący poziom przeciwciał IgG-2 anty-GRA7 oraz IFN-gammma, podczas gdy iniekcja pGRA1, pGRA4 oraz pGRA6 stymuluje odpowiedź przeciwciał IgG1 z ograniczoną...

Evaluation of the photoprotective effect of β-cyclodextrin on the emission of volatile degradation products of ranitidine
PublikacjaThe process of the photo-excitation of ranitidine hydrochloride (RAN) in a solid state makes visible changes to its colour and generates an unpleasant odour. The purpose of the present study was to observe the protective effects of ˇ-cyclodextrin (CD) complexation as well as the effect of the mixture of two stoichiometries 1:1 and 1:2 (RAN:CD, IC) on the photostability of samples in a solid state. Samples of inclusion complexes...

The Impact of Trade Integration with the European Union on Productivity in a Posttransition Economy: The Case of Polish Manufacturing Sectors
PublikacjaThis paper addresses the relationship between productivity growth in Polish manufacturing sectors and forces stemming from trade integration with the European Union. Empirical analysis (1995-2006) is based on sector-level bilateral data concerning both domestic (Polish) and foreign (partner countries from the enlarged European Union) markets' characteristics and their degree of openness. The main results indicate that, both in...

Approximation of Fractional Order Dynamic Systems Using Elman, GRU and LSTM Neural Networks
PublikacjaIn the paper, authors explore the possibility of using the recurrent neural networks (RNN) - Elman, GRU and LSTM - for an approximation of the solution of the fractional-orders differential equations. The RNN network parameters are estimated via optimisation with the second order L-BFGS algorithm. It is done based on data from four systems: simple first and second fractional order LTI systems, a system of fractional-order point...

Patterned protein microarrays for bacterial detection. Langmuir**2003 vol.19 s. 436-439, 5 rys. bibliogr. 25 poz. Specyficzne mikroukłady protein do wykrywania bakterii.

Oxygen concentration regulated the efficient liquefaction of vulcanized natural rubber
PublikacjaOxidative liquefaction represents a promising avenue for the homogeneous and high-value utilization of waste tire rubber. Given that truck tires predominantly comprise natural rubber (NR), this study investigated the efficient liquefaction of vulcanized NR regulated by oxygen concentration. Remarkably, the liquefaction of vulcanized NR was realized with an oxygen concentration of 75 % at 200 °C within 3 min. FTIR spectroscopy showed...

Reinforcing and plasticizing effects of reclaimed rubber on the vulcanization and properties of natural rubber
PublikacjaThe production of high-added value reclaimed rubber (RR) is of great signifi-cance for the sustainability of rubber industries. To green recycle waste rub-bers and broaden the application of RR, a RR material with potentialreinforcing and plasticizing effects on nature rubber (NR) composites are pre-pared by a thermo-oxidative reclamation process. The reclamation degree ofRR is controlled by adjusting the content of soybean oil....
