    Jednym ze sposobów zmniejszenia uciążliwości związanej z istniejącym poziomem hałasu jest budowa ekranów akustycznych. Podstawowym kryterium doboru rozwiązania materiałowo - konstrukcyjnego ekranu jest uzyskanie pożądanych parametrów akustycznych. W projektowaniu ekranów należy również uwzględnić pozaakustyczne elementy, takie jak: warunki bezpieczeństwa i użytkowania oraz estetyka obiektu, które są tematem niniejszego referatu.
