PublicationOntologie, dzięki zapewnieniu formalnego opisu przy zachowaniu czytelności dla człowieka, są coraz powszechniej stosowaną metodą opisu usług sieciowych. Zaprezentowano słownik WordNet i jego zastosowanie jako meta ontologia do opisów usług podobnych różnych dostawców.
