Triaquabis(tri-tert-butoxysilanethiolato)barium

Microstructure and Dielectric Properties of Barium-vanadate Glasses
PublikacjaThe ac and dc conductivity in barium-vanadate glasses was investigated as a function of temperature and frequency with the use of impedance spectroscopy. The topography and microstructure of glasses were investigated by the means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) methods. The XRD results show that all samples are amorphous but microscopy investigation reveals that glasses with greater amount of V2O5...

Properties of Barium Cerate-Zirconate Thin Films
PublikacjaIn this work, we review several experimental results showing the electrical properties of barium cerate-zirconate thin films and discuss them in view of the possible influence of various factors on their properties. Most of the presented Ba(Ce, Zr, Y)O3 thin films were formed by the pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique, however thin films prepared using other methods, like RF magnetron sputtering, electron-beam deposition, powder...

Electric and magnetic properties of Lanthanum Barium Cobaltite
PublikacjaThe cubic Ba0.5La0.5CoO3‐δ was synthesized using solid state reaction. The structural properties were determined by the simultaneous refinement of Synchrotron Powder X‐ray Diffraction and Neutron Powder Diffraction data. Iodometric titration was used to examine the oxygen stoichiometry and average cobalt oxidation state. Low‐temperature magnetic studies show soft ferromagnetic character of fully oxidized material, with θP = 198(3)...

Optimization of microstructure and properties of acceptor-doped barium cerate
PublikacjaThe presented research concerns acceptor doped barium cerate and the attempts of improvement of its production method that would allow obtaining the solid electrolyte characterized by the particular properties. The authors suggest combining two production methods, molten salt synthesis and self-combustion, in order to achieve the compound material that has some of the advantages of both of the initial methods. An impact of nickel...

Structure and transport properties of donor-doped barium strontium cobaltites
PublikacjaIn this work, Nb-substituted barium strontium cobaltites Ba0.5Sr0.5Co1-xNbxO3-δ (x = 0 – 0.4) have been fabricated and studied. The structural analysis showed that the Nb content influences the lattice constant as well as the distance between the (Co, Nb) and oxygen atoms. The study of morphology of samples showed that the Nb content does not change the porosity, grain size and morphology of the ceramics. The total electrical conductivity...

Water uptake and energetics of the formation of barium zirconate based multicomponent oxides
PublikacjaA group of multi-component oxides based on BaZrO3 have been prepared using a solid-state reaction method and examined in terms of their water uptake and thermodynamics of formation. Depending on the type and amount of acceptor substitution, the synthesized compounds exhibit various proton defect concentrations, reaching up to 0.2 mol/mol for a compound containing 10 different elements in the B-sublattice, where 50% of them are...

RARE-EARTH ELEMENTS DOPING OF BARIUM CERATE AND ZIRCONATE SOLID SOLUTION
PublikacjaThe properties of doped barium cerate barium zirconate solid solution are presented in presented work. It was found that doping of solid solution of barium cerate and zirconate by rare-earth elements have an influence on microstructure and electrical properties of the samples.
