PublicationPraca przedstawia wyniki badań spalania paliwa niskokalorycznego powstałego w wyniku gazyfikacji biomasy. Badania prowadzono w temperaturze pokojowej oraz w warunkach typowych dla technologii HiTAC, tj. w temperaturze powyżej samozapłonu paliwa i przy różnej zawartości tlenu w utleniaczu. PublicationCelem pracy było określenie wrażliwości gramujemnych i gramdodatnich bakterii na działanie ciśnienia 193MPa w temp. -20°C w obecności lizozymu lub nizyny. Stwierdzono, że połączone działanie ciśnienia i badanych substancji przeciwdrobnoustrojowych na zawiesiny bakterii Escherichia coli i Staphylococcus aureus powodowało większy stopień inaktywacji komórek niż suma efektów wywieranych przez pojedyncze czynniki.

W pracy zaproponowana dwa równania. Pierwsze umożliwa wstępną ocenę spawalności obecnie produkowanych stali wysokiej wytrzymałości, natomiast równania korelacyjne pozwalają obliczyć maksymalną twardość strefy wpływu ciepła materiału.

Influence of high temperature air-steam mixture application on time wood drying process
PublicationThe results of influence gas-steam mixture drying process on time wood drying process are presented. Wood species, namely oak (Quercus L.), beech (Fagus L.), pine (Pinus L.) and spruce (Picea K.) from the northern part of Pomerania region in Poland, were subject of air-steam mixture drying process. Main focus of those tests was to shorten the time of drying process and afterward to check properties of wood.

Case studies of resonance phenomena in high voltage overhead power lines with shunt reactors
PublicationMisguided design of the towers of power transmission lines can lead to serious problems such as voltage asymmetry, overvoltages, electric arc extinction difficulties or resonance – in case of double circuit line with shunt reactors. The paper points out those threats on example of 400 kV double circuit overhead transmission line with shunt reactors.

Spectroscopic properties of Rhodamine B entrapped in hybrid porous nanolayers at high dye concentration
PublicationThe preparation procedure and characterization of Rhodamine B entrapped in zirconia, silica and mixed silica–zirconia nanolayers is described. The nanolayers were produced by the sol–gel spin-coating technique.
