PublicationIn this paper we introduce a new homotopy invariant – the cohomological span of LS-Conley index. We prove the theorems on the existence of critical points for a class of strongly indefinite functionals with the gradient of the form Lx+K(x), where L is bounded linear and K is completely continuous. Morse cohomology in a Hilbert space via the Conley index
PublicationThe main theorem of this paper states that Morse cohomology groups in a Hilbert space are isomorphic to the cohomological Conley index. It is also shown that calculating the cohomological Conley index does not require finite-dimensional approximations of the vector field. Further directions are discussed.

The E-Cohomological Conley Index, Cup-Lengths and the Arnold Conjecture on T 2n
PublicationWe show that the E-cohomological Conley index, that was introduced by the first author recently, has a natural module structure. This yields a new cup-length and a lower bound for the number of critical points of functionals on Hilbert spaces. When applied to the setting of the Arnold conjecture, this paves the way to a short proof on tori, where it was first shown by C. Conley and E. Zehnder in 1983.

Module structure in Conley theory with some applications
PublicationA multiplicative structure in the cohomological versjon of Conley index is described . In the case of equivariant flows we apply the normalization procedure known from equivariant degree theory and we propose a new continuation invariant. The theory is then applied to obtain a mountain pass type theorem. Another application is a result on multiple bifurcations for some elliptic PDE.

Po zdefiniowaniu tego rodzaju kolorowania zbadano, które ze znanych wyników dla klasycznego kolorowania krawędzi grafów kubicznych można przenieść na rozważany model kolorowania. PublicationLiczby dominowania wypukłego i słabo wypukłego są nowymi rodzajami liczb dominowania. W tym artykule pokazujemy, że problemy decyzyjne dominowania wypukłegi i słabo wypukłego są NP-zupełne w przypadku grafów dwudzielnych oraz split grafów. PublicationWe study the influence of edge subdivision on the convex domination number. We show that in general an edge subdivision can arbitrarily increase and arbitrarily decrease the convex domination number. We also find some bounds for unicyclic graphs and we investigate graphs G for which the convex domination number changes after subdivision of any edge in G.
