Synthesis and structural characterization of new cyclic siloxane with functionalized organic substituents
PublikacjaOcta(2-pyridyloxy)cyclotetrasiloxane was isolated as the product of the reaction between silicon disulfide and 2-hydroxypyridine. The reactivity of 1,1-dichloro-2,2-di-tert-butyldiphosphane towards lithiated metal carbonyls: a new entry to phosphanylphosphinidene dimers
PublikacjaReactions of [Cp*(OC)3M]Li (Cp* = C5Me5, M = Mo, W) towards t-Bu2P–PCl2 lead to the formation of phosphanylphosphinidene dimers [Cp*(OC)3M(η2-t-Bu2P–P)]2 in fairly good yields. The formation of a tetraphosphorus ligand proceeds via reductive dimerization of t-Bu2P–P units. Inkjet Printing of Lanthanide–Organic Frameworks for Anti-Counterfeiting Applications
PublikacjaPhotoluminescent lanthanide−organic frameworks (Ln-MOFs) were printed onto plastic and paper foils with a conventional inkjet printer. Ln-MOF inks were used to reproduce color images that can only be observed under UV light irradiation. This approach opens a new window for exploring Ln-MOF materials in technological applications, such as optical devices (e.g., lab-on-a-chip), as proof of authenticity for official documents.

PublikacjaThe new silicon–sulfur compound: disiloxane-1,3-dithiol was obtained from silicon disulfide and 2,6-diisopropylphenol in a reaction catalyzed by imidazole or 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine (DMAP). Crystal structure of disiloxane–1,3-dithiol reveals a close-to-linear Si–O–Si angle and a mutual trans position of the two hydrosulfido groups. PublikacjaStructure of nitronorbornene derivative C14H12N2O2 synthesized in the reaction of cyclopentadiene with E-2-phenyl-1-cyano-1-nitroethene was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. It was found that in analyzed molecule the nitro group is in endo-position whereas phenyl group have exo-ori-entation.
