Okazało się, że największa sprawność przetwarzania energii słonecznej w biomasę ma miejsce w drugim i trzecim roku uprawy wiklinowej (około 1%), natomiast w pierwszym i w czwartym roku sprawność ta jest 2 razy niższa i wynosi około 0,5%.
