Optimal Rotating Receiver Angles Estimation for Multicoil Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer
PublikacjaThis study proposed an approach to dynamic wireless charging that uses a rotating receiver coil. Our simulation study focused on the verification of a novel way of increasing the coupling coefficient and power transfer stability by following the flux of the transmitting coils. To obtain the highest possible coupling by means of the FEM analysis, we studied the optimization of the trajectory of the angular velocity of the rotating...

Modified Inductive Multi-Coil Wireless Power Transfer Approach Based On Z-Source Network
PublikacjaThis article presents a non-conventional approach to a multi-coil wireless power transfer system based on a Z-source network. The novelty of the approach lies in the use of a Z-source as a voltage source for energy transmission through the wireless power transfer coils. The main advantage is in a reduced number of semiconductors. This paper provides the design approach, simulation and experimental study. Feasibility and possible...

Automatic tuning of a resonant circuit in wireless power supply systems for biomedical sensors
PublikacjaIn this paper, a tuning method of a resonant circuit suited for wireless powering of miniature endoscopic capsules is presented and discussed. The method allows for an automatic tuning of the resonant frequency and matching impedance of a full wave rectifier loading the resonant circuit. Thereby, the receiver tunes so as to obtain the highest power efficiency under given conditions of transmission. A prototype receiver for wireless...

COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF FERRITE SHIELDING DESIGNS IN INDUCTIVE POWER TRANSFER SYSTEMS
PublikacjaWireless power transfer technology is becoming widespread in last few years. In comparison to conventional solutions this technology can significantly increase maintainability and safety of charging systems. From the other side there are list of factors that limit efficiency of wireless systems. One of them is low coupling between coils caused by comparably high leakage inductance in comparison to regular transformer.

Low-Power Receivers for Wireless Capacitive Coupling Transmission in 3-D-Integrated Massively Parallel CMOS Imager
PublikacjaThe paper presents pixel receivers for massively parallel transmission of video signal between capacitive coupled integrated circuits (ICs). The receivers meet the key requirements for massively parallel transmission, namely low-power consumption below a single μW, small area of less than 205 μm2, high sensitivity better than 160 mV, and good immunity to crosstalk. The receivers were implemented and measured in a 3-D IC (two face-to-face...

Analysis of inductive power transfer systems for variable air gap and voltage supply frequency
PublikacjaThe paper describes an IPT system, by which electrical energy may be transmitted through a large air gap between coils without electrical connection. It presents theoretical and simulation analysis of IPT, which allows for supplying a receiver in the conditions of slow, in relation to the dynamics of power supply, changes in dimension of the air gap. The influence of frequency characteristics of the system on the possible selection...
