Stwierdzono, że trociny uzyskane z drewna dębowego modyfikowanego termicznie nie zawierają w swoim składzie szkodliwych dla układu oddechowego człowieka cząstek z frakcji PM2.5, a ponadto nie wykryto cząstek frakcji PM10, które mogłyby tworzyć smog w środowisko pracy.
