Synthesis and properties of porous Sr 0.96 Y 0.04 Ti 1−x Nb x O 3
PublicationA series of porous, single phase Sr0.96Y0.04Ti1-xNbxO3 samples was obtained using a wet synthesis method (modified citrate sol-gel) method. Temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) and temperature-programmed oxidation (TPO) measurements have shown high stability of the obtained material in variable (oxidizing/reducing) atmospheres. PublicationPrzedstawiono studium parametryczne oceny ekonomicznej efektywności insta-lacji slonecznego ogrzewania wody, wykorzystującej zmodyfikowaną do potrzebenergetyki słonecznej metodę ''Zaktualizowanej Wartości Netto'' -NPVW. Stwier-dzono istnienie znacznych obszarów opłacalności słonecznego ogrzewania wodyw okresie 25-letniego horyzontu czasowego. Jest jednak konieczna pomoc rządowa w zakresie inwestowania na instalację słoneczną.

PublicationA series of new 2-(2-alkylthiobenzenesulfonyl)-3-(phenylprop-2-ynylideneamino)guanidine derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated in vitro by MTT assays for their antiproliferative activity against cell lines of colon cancer HCT-116, cervical cancer HeLa and breast cancer MCF-7. PublicationA series of novel 5-substituted 2-(arylmethylthio)-4-chloro-N-(5-aryl-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl) benzenesulfonamide derivatives 27–60 have been synthesized by the reaction of aminoguanidines with an appropriate phenylglyoxal hydrate in glacial acetic acid. PublicationThe influence of novel aliphatic polyurethanes on growth of Staphyloccocus aureus (SA)in the around of polymer samples has been estimated by disk method. It was staed that the growth of SA was inhibited.The influence of polyurethanes on planctonic Staphyloccocus aureus was also pefrormed by tube method. In this test the slight decrease of bacteria concentration was noticed.
