Analysis of the radiation dose in UV-disinfection flow reactors.
PublikacjaTheoretical considerations devoted to the variation of UV radiation doses in flow disinfection reactors are presented. The minimal time required by the fluid to pass the reactor was determined and combined with the radiation intensity. The active zones of the reactor were determined.

PublikacjaWobec braku w literaturze metody wymiarowania osadników wirowych, zaproponowano kryteria projektowe, bazujące na analizie wpływu siły odśrodkowej ma ruch cząstki zawiesiny oraz na czas jej przebywania w osadniku. Verification of baffle factor for straight pipe flow
PublikacjaDuring the water disinfection devices designing, it is often assumed that the baffle factor for a straight pipe reactors is equal to one. It would be possible only for the plug flow, which is a simplified model of the flow and does not appear in real situations. Model of pressure distribution in vortex flow controls
PublikacjaThe paper is devoted to the vortex valve. Existing devices are described by CFD-methods, or by means of simple empirical relations. A rational method of the considered object design is proposed, on the base of the input and dissipation energy balance., what gives a simple algebraic equation. Simple design criteria and efficiency of hydrodynamic vortex separators
PublikacjaVortex separators are locally applied for waste water treatment in different systems - from storm waste water sewerage to water treatment in fish ponds. However, the methods for separator design presented in the literature are questionable. The paper presents two simple and functional criteria that were employed to construct a laboratory test stand. The test results gave positive feed back on the efficiency of vortex separators.

Znajdują zastosowanie w dużych obiektach hydrotechnicznych, ale też w stosunkowo niewielkich urządzeniach do oczyszczania ścieków. Praca poświęcona jest określeniu współczynnika wydatku takiego przelewu, dla przypadku separatora wirowego.
