PublicationOmówienie badań wzmocnienia gruntu w Polsce zapoczątkowane w latach 70-tych w Katedrze Geotechniki Politechniki Gdańskiej i Instytucie Budownictwa Wodnego PAN w Gdańsku. Ponadto przedstawiono: badania tarcia w geomembranach teksturowanych; nośność wzmocnionego geotekstyliami podłoża gruntowego obciążonego fundamentem wyciąganym; badania na wyciąganie (''pull-out'') geogrydów wzmacniających podłoża.

W metodzie mokrej stosuje się składniki wiążące (głownie cementy) wymieszane z wodą, podawane w formie zaczynu. W metodzie suchej materiały wiążące podawane są w postaci sproszkowanej z udziałem sprężonego powietrza. Przedstawiono główne obszary zastosowania w geotechnice oraz podano przykłady kilku realizacji.

PublicationW pracy opisano właściwości gruntu niejednorodnego w postaci mieszaniny budowanej ze żwiru i piasku w różnych proporcjach. Mieszanina ma właściwości typowe ośrodków ziarnistych. Badania przeprowadzono w aparacie trójosiowego ściskania. Jako wynik uzyskano, że wraz ze wzrostem procentowej zawartości żwiru rośnie kąt tarcia wewnętrznego mieszaniny i jej zagęszczenie oraz wartość jej wytrzymałości na ścinanie.

PublicationZaprezentowano właściwości zwilżające, emulgujące oraz solubilizujące surfaktantów niejonowych Rokanolu L10, Tritonu X-100 oraz biosurfaktantu JBR 425. Jako modelowe zanieczyszczenia wybrano tetrachloroetylen (PCE) oraz o-dichlorobenzen (o-DCB). Stabilność emulsji rosła wraz ze stężeniem surfaktantu. Rozpuszczalnośc PCE i o-DCB była największa w roztworach micelarnych biosurfaktantu JBR.
