Numerical-analytic methods for differential-algebraic systems
PublicationMetodę numeryczno-analityczną połączoną z metodą porównawczą zastosowano do układów równań różniczkowo-algebraicznych z linowymi warunkami brzegowymi otrzymując warunki dostateczne na istnienie rozwiązania. O prawych stronach zagadnienia zakładano warunek Lipschitza. Otrzymano oszacowania błędów. Problem z odchylonymi argumentami był również przedmiotem rozważań tej pracy.

Monotone and numerical analytic- methods for differential equations.
Rozważania teoretyczne poparto przykładem i dyskusją. W drugiej części pracy zastosowano metodę...

Investigating Analytics Dashboards’ Support for the Value-based Healthcare Delivery Model
PublicationImproving the value of care is one of the essential aspects of Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) model today. VBHC is a new HC delivery model which is centered on patient health outcomes and improvements. There is anecdotal evidence that the use of decision aid tools like dashboards can play a significant role in the successful implementation of VBHC models. However, there has been little or no systematic studies and reviews to establish...

On FEM analysis of Cosserat-type stiffened shells. Static and stability linear analysis
PublicationThe present research investigates the theory and numerical analysis of shells stiffened with beams in the framework based on the geometrically exact theories of shells and beams. Shell’s and beam’s kinematics are described by the Cosserat surface and the Cosserat rod respectively, which are consistent including deformation and strain measures. A FEM approximation of the virtual work principle leads to the conforming shell and beam...

Multimodal Genetic Algorithm with Phase Analysis to Solve Complex Equations of Electromagnetic Analysis
PublicationIn this contribution, a new genetic-algorithm-based method of finding roots and poles of a complex function of a complex variable is presented. The algorithm employs the phase analysis of the function to explore the complex plane with the use of the genetic algorithm. Hence, the candidate regions of root and pole occurrences are selected and verified with the use of discrete Cauchy's argument principle. The algorithm is evaluated...

Geometrically nonlinear analysis of shells - Benchmark problems for Autocad Robot Analysis Professional
PublicationThe aim of this work is to verify the suitability of commercial engineering software for geometrically nonlinear analysis of shells. This paper deals with the static, geometrically nonlinear analysis of shells made of an isotropic material. The Finite Element Method (FEM) is chosen to solve the problem. The results of the commercial software Autocad Robot Structural Analysis Professional (ARSAP) are compared with the litera-ture...

Fundamentals of classical and analytical mechanics
PublicationThe book is a monographic description of the present attempt to Newtonian and Lagrangian mechanics. But also, it could be found as a supplementary educational material useful for the graduate courses in mechanics taken by students majoring in mechanical engineering, physics or physical science. In the book you can find a brief introduction to concepts and principles of algebra of vectors; Kinematics of particles, mainly focused...

Analytical Strategies and Applications in Lipidomics
PublicationLipidomics is a field of study aiming at a comprehensive analysis of a set of lipids in biological systems. This includes both quantitative and qualitative characterization of lipid profiles, comparative studies of lipidomes, and analysis of lipid-protein interactions. Lipids are structurally diversified that make their analysis a challenging task. The constant advances in analytical technologies, especially in the field of high-performance...

Evaluation of the Greenness of Analytical Procedures
PublicationThis contributions introduces the need to develop the methods to evaluate analytical procedures in the light of green analytical chemistry. Green chemistry metrics are not applicable in analytical chemistry because they refer to the mass of product and no product with mass is generated during analytical determination. Analytical greenness evaluations are based on scoring - such as NEMI or Eco-scale or comparative analysis as it...

Metrics for green analytical chemistry
PublicationGreen analytical chemistry, although not being a new concept, does not have a greenness metrics system. Green chemistry metrics are not suitable for analytical procedure assessment because they often refer to the mass of the product. Some efforts have been made to develop suitable metrics for analytical chemistry. Some are simple to use but do not cover all aspects of analytical methods’ environmental impact. Others are more comprehensive...

Green and equitable analytical chemistry
PublicationGreen analytical chemistry introduces the ideas of reduction ofanalytical activities impact on the environment. However, to bemore sustainable, analytical chemistry should include socialaspects in greater manner. In this light‘equitable’analyticalprocedures, which are easily available in terms of price andapplicability by everyday user, are developed. These positivetrends are observed as many procedures, based on commonlyused for...
