Z badań amerykańskich wynika, że iloraz zawartości wypełniacza do asfaltu powinien wynosić 0,6-1,6. Badania polskich nawierzchni, które uległy uszkodzeniom, wykazują że iloraz ten jest znacznie wyższy.
