Hydrogen Production via Biomethane Reforming in DBD Reactor
PublikacjaProduction of hydrogen from CH4:CO2 (70%:30%) mixture simulating dry biogas in a DBD reactor supplied with AC of 1.0-2.0 kHz or nanosecond negative pulses is presented. We have found that hydrogen production and methane conversion degree increase linearly with discharge power in the range of up to 50 W. Nanosecond voltage pulses are much more efficient in hydrogen production than sine AC voltage

The Analysis of Vodka: A Review Paper
PublikacjaVodka is the most popular alcoholic beverage in Poland, Russia and other Eastern European countries, made from ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin that has been produced via fermentation of potatoes, grains or other agricultural products. Despite distillation and multiple filtering, it is not possible to produce 100 % ethanol. The solution with a minimum ethanol content of 96 %, which is used to produce vodkas, also contains trace amounts...

On the Correlation of Lignocellulosic Filler Composition with the Performance Properties of Poly(ε-Caprolactone) Based Biocomposites
PublikacjaIn this work, three types of agricultural waste: olive stones (OS), date seed (DS) and wheat bran (WB) were applied as potential lignocellulosic fillers in poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) based biocomposites. Differences in composites’ performance were related to the higher content of proteins, noted for WB comparing to other fillers applied, which enhanced plasticization of PCL matrix. The mechanical properties of biocomposites were...
