Morse cohomology in a Hilbert space via the Conley index
PublikacjaThe main theorem of this paper states that Morse cohomology groups in a Hilbert space are isomorphic to the cohomological Conley index. It is also shown that calculating the cohomological Conley index does not require finite-dimensional approximations of the vector field. Further directions are discussed.

Head movement compensation algorithm in multi-display communication by gaze
PublikacjaAn influence of head movements on the gaze estimation accuracy when using a head mounted eye tracking system is discussed in the paper. This issue has been examined for a multi-display environment. It was found that head movement (rotation) to some extent does not influence on the gaze estimation accuracy seriously. Acceptable results were obtained when using eye-tracker to communicate with a computer via in two displays simultaneously.

Estimation of wind pressure acting on the new palm house in Gdansk
PublikacjaThis paper deals with the problem of numerical simulations of wind loads acting on a Palm House with complex geometry. Flow simulations with aid of computational fluid dynamics procedures have been performed to check if the pressure distributions for the structure are greater than those calculated using the standard design codes with assumption that the Palm House horizontal cross sections are described by smooth cylinders.
