Electron scattering cross sections for 1-pentene, H2C=CH-(CH2)2CH3, molecules
PublicationCross sections, both experimental and theoretical, are reported for electron scattering from 1-pentene (C5H10) molecules. Absolute grand-total cross sections (TCSs) were measured at electron impact energies ranging from 1 to 300 eV, using a linear electron-transmission technique. PublicationZmierzono całkowity przekrój czynny (TCS) na zderzenie elektronów z izomerami C4H6 i z drobiną C4F6. Pomiary przeprowadzono w oparciu o liniową metodę transmisyjną. Dla izomerów C4H6 stwierdzono różnice w kształcie i wielkości TCS w obszarze niskich energii. Wskazano na efekt fluoryzacji.

PublicationZmierzono przekrój czynny na rozproszenie elektronów na drobinie C3F6 a zakresie energii 0.5 - 30 eV. Zaobserwowano dwa maksima o charakterze rezonansowym dla energii 3.2 eV oraz 9.5 eV. Wykazano wyraźny wpływ fluoryzacji na otrzymywane zależności energetyczne przekroju czynnego.

PublicationThe micellization in mixed aqueous systems based on a nonionic surfactant, heptaethylene glycol monotetradecyl ether (C14E7), and an anionic surfactant, cesium dodecyl sulfate, has been investigated by small-angle neutron scattering. Preliminary data on the behavior of the C14E7 aqueous solutions (with three concentrations, 0.17, 0.5, and 1%) mixed with a small amount of anionic surfactant, cesium dodecyl sulfate, are reported.

Improving the accuracy of subgridding scheme in finite differences method based on Legendre polynomials expansion
PublicationIn this article the Legendre polynomials have been used to interpolate the field at the boundary of the meshes of different densities. The numerical verification of the proposed technique has been carried out in frequency domain. It has been shown that the accuracy of the presented method is very high and stable - the error monotonically decreases as a function of the refinement factor.
