Improving depth maps of plants by using a set of five cameras
PublicationObtaining high-quality depth maps and disparity maps with the use of a stereo camera is a challenging task for some kinds of objects. The quality of these maps can be improved by taking advantage of a larger number of cameras. The research on the usage of a set of five cameras to obtain disparity maps is presented. The set consists of a central camera and four side cameras. An algorithm for making disparity maps called multiple...

Analiza stateczności walcowego pionowego zbiornika dwupłaszczowego posadowionego na fundamencie gruntowym
PublicationOmówiono wpływ nierównomiernego osiadania płaszcza wewnętrznego i zewnętrznego na nośność stalowego zbiornika dwupłaszczowego posadowionego za pośrednictwem podsypki piaskowej na uwarstwionym podłożu gruntowym. Analizę obliczeniową wykonano numerycznie przy zastosowaniu systemu komputerowego MSC Visual Nastran for Windows, version 2001.

Zdecydowany prym w hierarchii najbardziej uciążliwych barier mają bariery administracyjno-prawne, a wśród nich wynikające z obowiązującego systemu prawa podatkowego. Tę barierę uzupełniają: niestabilny system prawny i podatkowy, niedostosowanie prawa pracy, nieuczciwa konkurencja...

Synthesis and biological evaluation of 2,7-Dihydro-3H-dibenzo[de,h]cinnoli- ne-3,7-done derivatives a novel group of anticancer agents active on a multidrug resistance cell line.
Dwa najbardziej aktywne związki przetestowano in vivo na mysiej białaczce P388. Wykazały one aktywność przeciwnowotworową porównywalną z aktywnością Mitoxantronu.

Antimicrobial resistance of fecal indicators in muncipal wastewater treatment plant
PublicationAntimicrobial resistance of fecal coliforms (n = 153) and enterococci (n = 199) isolates was investigated in municipal wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) based on activated sludge system. The number of fecal indicators (in influent and effluent as well as in the aeration chamber and in return activated sludge mixture) was determined using selective media. Susceptibility of selected strains was tested against 19 (aminoglycosides,...

Niezawodność komunikacji zgodnej z IEC 61850 w elektroenergetycznych sieciach inteligentnych

Diagonalized Macromodels in Finite Element Method for Fast Electromagnetic Analysis of Waveguide Components
PublicationA new technique of local model-order reduction (MOR) in 3-D finite element method (FEM) for frequency-domain electromagnetic analysis of waveguide components is proposed in this paper. It resolves the problem of increasing solution time of the reduced-order system assembled from macromodels created in the subdomains, into which an analyzed structure is partitioned. This problem becomes particularly relevant for growing size and...

Optimizing Medical Personnel Speech Recognition Models Using Speech Synthesis and Reinforcement Learning
PublicationText-to-Speech synthesis (TTS) can be used to generate training data for building Automatic Speech Recognition models (ASR). Access to medical speech data is because it is sensitive data that is difficult to obtain for privacy reasons; TTS can help expand the data set. Speech can be synthesized by mimicking different accents, dialects, and speaking styles that may occur in a medical language. Reinforcement Learning (RL), in the...
