PublicationZaproponowano zastosowanie separacji pianowej do usuwania i zagęszczania białek i anionowych substancji powierzchniowo czynnych ze ścieków poprodukcyjnych powstających w zakładzie mleczarskim. Stwierdzono, że dzięki zastosowaniu wymienionej techniki można nie tylko wydzielić składniki białkowe ze strumieni poprodukcyjnych, ale także odzyskiwać i kierować do ponownego zastosowania anionowej środki powierzchniowo czynne.

PublicationPrzedstawiono badania dotyczące wpływu temperatury na właściwości sedymentacyjne osadu czynnego w dwóch komunalnych oczyszczalniach ścieków. Sezonowe zmiany opadalności osadu związane są ze zmianami temperatury oraz zmianą składu populacji bakterii osadu czynnego (bakterie nitkowate). Na rozwój tych bakterii wpływa nie tylko temperatura, lecz także intensywność napowietrzania oraz dostępność substancji pożywkowych.

W celu określenia stopnia zagrożenia coraz częściej wykonuje siępomiary stężeń substancji chemicznych lub ich metabolitów w płynach biologi-cznych, tj. w moczu, krwi, mleku matki, żółci, ślinie i spermie. PublicationW publikacji została opisana metoda otrzymywania nanocząstek srebra oraz farb modyfikowanych srebrem i ich wpływ na zahamowanie rozwoju wybranych bakterii i grzybów. Podjęto również próbę porównania wpływu rodzaju prekursora srebra oraz substancji powierzchniowo czynnej na stabilność otrzymanych nanocząstek srebra. Przygotowane mikroemulsje zawierały od 500 do 2000 ppm srebra
