Określano wytrzymałość, wydłużenie, przewężenie i energię zniszczenia. Stwierdzono znaczna degradację w 0,01 M kwasie siarkowym z dodatkiem arszeniku. Wykazano istnienie korelacji między obróbką cieplną i stopniem degradacji. Efekty przypisano pułapkowaniu wodoru.
