Current-based higher-order spectral covariance as a bearing diagnostic feature for induction motors
PublikacjaConducting the diagnosis of induction motors remotely by analyzing the supply current is an attractive prospect with the lack of access to the engine. Currently, there is no solution, based on analysis of the current, the credibility of which would allow its use in industry. The statistics of bearing failures in induction motors indicate that they constitute more than 40% of induction motor damage, therefore, bearing diagnosis...

Advanced Oxidation Processes for Degradation of Water Pollutants—Ambivalent Impact of Carbonate Species: A Review
PublikacjaAdvanced oxidation processes (AOPs) hold great promise in the removal of organic contaminants. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced in AOPs react with target pollutants to initially form several intermediate compounds that finally undergo complete mineralization. Such observations are reported, especially for laboratory-scale experiments performed in pure water. On the other hand, while considering real contaminated wastewater...

Towards spectroscopic monitoring of photoelectrodes: In-situ Raman photoelectrochemistry of a TiO2/prussian blue photoanode
PublikacjaHere, novel in-situ Raman photoelectrochemical measurements are performed. The obtained results have proved that it is possible to track the progress of a photoelectrochemical reaction that takes place on a semiconducting electrode using the spectroscopic method. As an exemplary system, the Ti/TiO2/Prussian blue electrode is investigated. Since TiO2 is an n-type semiconductor, it cannot act as an efficient anode in dark conditions....
