Monoacylową pochodną wykorzystano następnie w reakcji z fosforynem etylu otrzymując difunkcyjny związek. Otrzymane ligandy zbadano spektrofotometrycznie.   Izomeryczne oksatiolonowe sprzężone chalkony zawierające O-alkilowe łańcuchy boczne otrzymano w wyniku kondensacji odpowiednich benzoksatiolonów z podstawionymi benzaldehydami.
