Wydobywanie informacji diagnostycznej w obrazowaniu mózgu techniką MRI przy wykorzystaniu identyfikacji parametrycznej
PublikacjaDane MRI wykorzystano w pracy do oceny perfuzji tkanek mózgowych. Obrazowanie perfuzji z wykorzystaniem pomiarów MRI jest szeroko stosowane w praktyce klinicznej do diagnozowania guzów, demencji, choroby Alzheimera i innych. W modelowania danych MRI wykorzystano parametryczny model trzykompartmentowy. Parametry modelu estymowane są na podstawie danych eksperymentalnych: sygnału mierzonego w tętnicy mózgowej oraz sygnału mierzonego...

Weighted Clustering for Bees Detection on Video Images
PublikacjaThis work describes a bee detection system to monitor bee colony conditions. The detection process on video images has been divided into 3 stages: determining the regions of interest (ROI) for a given frame, scanning the frame in ROI areas using the DNN-CNN classifier, in order to obtain a confidence of bee occurrence in each window in any position and any scale, and form one detection window from a cloud of windows provided by...

Opracowanie optymalnych warunków rozdzielania i identyfikacji metabolitów ro lin z rodzaju droseraceae, z zastosowaniem wysokosprawnej kolumnowej chromatografii cieczowej= A research on the composition of eluent for separation of plant metabolites by column reversed phase liquid chromatography

Increasing accuracy of frequency estimation by decimation. W: [CD-ROM]EUSIPCO 2002. XI European Signal Processing Conference. Toulouse, France, September 3-6, 2002. [B.m.]: New Medias**2002 [4 s. 3 rys. bibliogr. 6 poz.] Page numbers in the proceedings: Volume 3, s. 135-138. Zwiększanie dokładności estymacji częstotliwości poprzez decymację.
PublikacjaArtykuł rozważa problem estymacji częstotliwości zaszumionego, sinusoidalne-go sygnału zespolonego.

A Data Driven Model for Predicting RNA-Protein Interactions based on Gradient Boosting Machine
PublikacjaRNA protein interactions (RPI) play a pivotal role in the regulation of various biological processes. Experimental validation of RPI has been time-consuming, paving the way for computational prediction methods. The major limiting factor of these methods has been the accuracy and confidence of the predictions, and our in-house experiments show that they fail to accurately predict RPI involving short RNA sequences such as TERRA RNA....

Bifractal receiver operating characteristic curves: a formula for generating receiver operating characteristic curves in credit-scoring contexts
PublikacjaThis paper formulates a mathematical model for generating receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves without underlying data. Credit scoring practitioners know that the Gini coefficient usually drops if it is only calculated on cases above the cutoff. This fact is not a mathematical necessity, however, as it is theoretically possible to get an ROC curve that keeps the same Gini coefficient no matter how big a share of lowest...

A Five-Leg Three-Level Dual-Output Inverter
PublikacjaClassical 3-level dual-output inverter, 3-L DOI, involves two similar 3-level inverters that provides a pair of 3-phase output voltages with same or different frequencies from common input voltage source. Flexibility of either operation of the constituting inverters is evident in this DOI; but total duplication of power switches is a major drawback. State of the art coupled 3-L DOIs reduce this drawback by providing series-shared...
