Electronic conductivity in Na2O-FeO-P2O5 glasses. oz.
Do badania procesów migracji elektronów i jonów zastosowano metodę tarcia wewnętrznego. W widmie tarcia wewnętrznego...

Mixed ionic-electronic conductivity and structural properties of strontium-borate glass containing nanocrystallites of Bi2 VO5.5
PublicationSamples of strontium borate glass containing bismuth vanadate nanocrystallites were prepared. Nanocomposites containing up to 45mol% of the Bi2VO5.5 phase exhibit electrical properties closer to the strontium-borate glass than to the ferroelectric Bi2VO5.5 ceramic. The glass matrix still may contain some part of bismuth and vanadium ions even after crystallization process and there is too little of crystalline phase to observe...

Mixed electronic-ionic conductivity in transition metal oxide glasses con-taining alkaline ions

In situ transformation boosts the pseudocapacitance of CuNi-MOF via cooperative orientational and electronic governing
PublicationThe disordered arrangement and thereof inferior conductivity of 2D MOF sheets seriously hinder their practical application. Herein, we propose in situ transformation strategy to architect vertically oriented bimetallic CuNi-MOF as a self-supporting electrode, leading to a decuple high specific capacitance of 1262 C g-1 in comparison with the pristine Ni-MOF powder of 114 C g-1 at 2 A g-1. DFT calculations reveal that introduction...

Structural and electronic properties of diamond-composed heterostructures
PublicationDiamond is a promising material for 21st century electronics due to its high thermal and electronic conductivity, biocompatibility, chemical stability, high wear resistance, and possibility of doping. However, the semiconductor properties of diamond, especially free-standing films, have not been fully explored. Nor have their integration with polymers and fragile materials and their applications as electronic components. In this...

Ac and dc conductivities in v2o5-p2o5 glasses containing alkaline ions
PublicationWe investigated the ac and dc conductivity in 50V2O5-(50 − x)P2O5-xA2O (A = Li, Na, K) glasses as a function of temperature. The measurements were carried out in the frequency range from 10−4 to 107 Hz. For all compositions, the dc conductivity decreased with the increasing alkali ion content. The decrease in conductivity was more pronounced for larger alkali ions. The ac conductivity exhibited a universal dynamic response: σac...

Hebb–Wagner polarization method for determining the oxygen ion conductivity in barium cerate-zirconate
PublicationIn this work, the partial conductivity of oxygen ions in BaCe0.6Zr0.2Y0.2O3 was studied at different temperatures and water partial pressures. For this purpose, a modified DC Hebb–Wagner polarization method with an electrode blocking for protons and electrons was used. A new type of measuring cell as well as a suitable calculation model were proposed for the determination of partial oxygen ionic conductivity in materials with three...

Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements - conductivity vs. temperature and conductivity vs. oxygen partial pressure - BaCe0.6Zr0.2Y0.1Tb0.1O3-δ
Open Research DataThe dataset consists of two main catalogs consisting of measurement data: of the electrical conductivity of the BaCe0.6Zr0.2Y0.1Tb0.1O3-δ (BCZYTb) sample as a function of temperature and of the electrical conductivity as a function of oxygen partial pressure (pO2). Measurements as a function of temperature were carried out in dry and wet air (pH2O ~...

Nonlinear Impedance as Possible Result of Ion-Polaron Interaction in Cu2O-Al2O3-SiO2 Glass
PublicationNonlinear a.c. impedance measurements were performed in Cu2O-Al2O3-SiO2 glass in wide frequency range. The obtained results shows that a large nonlinearity in the impedance signal is observed at moderate electric fields of an order 1V/mm. The contents of the third harmonics reaches about 10% and strongly depends on temperature and frequency. The investigated glass exhibits mixed electronic-ionic conductivity. Electronic conduction...

Properties of LiMnBO3 glasses and nanostructured glass-ceramics
PublicationPolycrystalline LiMnBO3 is a promising cathode material for Li-ion batteries. In this work, we investigated the thermal, structural and electrical properties of glassy and nanocrystallized materials having the same chemical composition. The original glass was obtained via a standard melt-quenching method. SEM and 7Li solid-state NMR indicate that it contains a mixture of two distinct glassy phases. The results suggest that the...

Structure and electrical properties of Y, Fe-based perovskite mixed conducting composites fabricated by a modified polymer precursor method
PublicationIn this work, samples of Y0.07Sr0.93Ti1-xFexO3-d with 20, 40, 60 and 80 mol% of iron amount were prepared by a low-temperature polymer precursor method. The SEM-EDS analysis proved that analyzed Y0.07Sr0.93Ti1-xFexO3-d samples were composites of two Ti- and Fe-rich perovskite samples. This kind of composite consists of two phases in which one has a good ionic and the other electronic conductivity, which makes such a composite a...

Enhanced Mobility and Large Linear Nonsaturating Magnetoresistance in the Magnetically Ordered States of TmNiC2
PublicationWe have studied the magnetic, magnetotransport, and galvanomagnetic properties of TmNiC2. We find that the antiferromagnetic and field induced metamagnetic and ferromagnetic orderings do not suppress the charge density wave. The persistence of Fermi surface pockets, open as a result of imperfect nesting accompanying the Peierls transition, results in an electronic carriers mobility of the order of 4 × 103 cm2 V−1 s−1 in ferromagnetic...
