Modelling and analysis of a synchronous generator in more electric aircraft power system using Synopsys/Saber simulator = Modelowanie i analiza generatora synchronicznego w systemie elektroenergetycznym nowoczesnego samolotu. Zastosowanie symulatora Synopsys/Saber
PublicationStreszczenie angielskie: A model for studying synchronous machine (SM) dynamic behaviour in more electric aircraft (MEA) power system is developed and implemented in the Synopys/Saber simulation environment. The modelling language MAST has been used to elaborate the SM model. The elaborated model exhibit a network with the same number of external terminals/ports as the real SM, and represents its behaviour in terms of the electrical...

Personal income tax - tax scales in 1992–2019
Open Research DataThe tax rate is the ratio (usually expressed as a percentage) at which a business or person is taxed. There are several methods used to present a tax rate: statory, average, marginal, and effective. These rates can also be presented using different definitions applied to a tax base: inclusive and exclusive.

Personal income tax - tax scales in 1992–2019
Open Research DataPersonal income tax in Poland is regulated by the Act of July 26, 1991. In addition, the rights and obligations of the taxpayer of this tax result from a number of provisions of the Polish Constitution, many statutes and ratified international agreements and executive regulations. This research data contains information on the amount of tax in Poland...

Modelling of residential sales price with kriging using different distance metrics in different correlation functions
PublicationThe modelling and estimation of sales prices based on economical conditions are important for housing sector especially in developing countries. Analysts are focused on the subject to analyze price movements and estimate the future trend of the sales prices for housing sector. In this study, we tried to generate a robust and efficient model related to the subject. Firstly, we investigated economic variables affecting housing sales...

Count Data Modeling About Relationship Between Dubai Housing Sales Transactions and Financial Indicators
PublicationIn this study, illustrating and comparing the performances of count data models such as Poisson, negative binomial (NB), Hurdle and zero-inflated models for the determination of factors affected housing sales in Dubai. Model comparisons are made via Akaike’s information criterion (AIC), the Vuong test and examining the residuals. Main purpose of this study is building reliable statistical model for relationship between Dubai housing...

Impact response of novel layered two stage fibrous composite slabs with different support type
PublicationThe performance of novel Layered Two Stage Fibrous Composite slabs (LTSFC) was pioneered under falling mass collisions using a combined experimental and numerical study. Such LTSFC slabs consist of three layers with and without the insertion of glass fibre mesh between the layers. LTSFC techniques were used to fabricate the composite slabs with three layers including 3%, 1.5%, and 3% of fibre content for the top, middle, and...

Experimental and analytical analysis of punching shear in flat slabs supported on column topped with concrete head
PublicationAn experimental laboraatory test of the two series of slab-column elements topped with drop panels of varying sizes is described in this paper. The scope of the paper is to investigate the influence of the drop panel size and stiffness on the behaviour of the connection between the flat slab and the column topped by the concrete head. The impact of the head size and stiffness is analysed analytically and experimentally. The experimental...

Modeling process of planning finished product sales volumes at industrial enterprises in modern economic conditions
PublicationThis article presents improving the existing system of planning finished products sales volumes. The influencing factors of the sales volumes in modern economic conditions have been determined: falling world oil prices, the reduction of pipe consumption in the domestic market, the global pandemic. The algorithm of planning finished products sales volumes has been constructed. Calculations based on the Holt forecasting method has...

Optimising approach to designing kernel PCA model for diagnosis purposes with and without a priori known data reflecting faulty states
PublicationFault detection plays an important role in advanced control of complex dynamic systems since precise information about system condition enables efficient control. Data driven methods of fault detection give the chance to monitor the plant state purely based on gathered measurements. However, they especially nonlinear, still suffer from a lack of efficient and effective learning methods. In this paper we propose the two stages learning...

Positron collisions with molecular hydrogen: cross sections and annihilation parameters calculated using theR-matrix with pseudo-states method
PublicationThe molecular R-matrix with pseudo-states (MRMPS) method is employed to study positron collisions with H2. The calculations employ pseudo-continuum orbital sets containing up to h (l = 5) functions. Use of these high l functions is found to give converged eigenphase sums. Below the positronium formation threshold, the calculated cross sections agree with other high-accuracy theories and generally with the measurements. Calculation...

Road Safety Trends at National Level in Europe: A Review of Time-series Analysis Performed during the Period 2000–12
PublicationThis paper presents a review of time-series analysis of road safety trends, aggregatedat a national level, which has been performed in the period 2000 – 12 and applied to Europeannational data sets covering long time periods. It provides a guideline and set of best practices inthe area of time-series modelling and identifies the latest methods and applications of nationalroad safety trend analysis...
