Evaluation by means of magneto-acoustic emission and Barkhausen effect of time and space distribution of magnetic flux density in ferromagnetic plate magnetized by a C-core
PublicationPokazano wyniki badań emisji magnetoakustycznej (EMA) i efektu Barkhausena (HEB) dla dwóch płyt stalowych o różnych wymiarach. Wyniki te są porównane z wynikami modelowania zjawiska EMA z wykorzystaniem metody elementów skończonych z uwzględniem efektu prądów wirowych. Uzyskano zadawalające dopasowanie modelu, który odtwarzał poszerzenie maksimum EMA oraz przesunięcie fazowe i zmianę amplitudy HEB.

GPU-Accelerated LOBPCG Method with Inexact Null-Space Filtering for Solving Generalized Eigenvalue Problems in Computational Electromagnetics Analysis with Higher-Order FEM
PublicationThis paper presents a GPU-accelerated implementation of the Locally Optimal Block Preconditioned Conjugate Gradient (LOBPCG) method with an inexact nullspace filtering approach to find eigenvalues in electromagnetics analysis with higherorder FEM. The performance of the proposed approach is verified using the Kepler (Tesla K40c) graphics accelerator, and is compared to the performance of the implementation based on functions from...

A Generalized Version of the Lions-Type Lemma
PublicationIn this short paper, I recall the history of dealing with the lack of compactness of a sequence in the case of an unbounded domain and prove the vanishing Lions-type result for a sequence of Lebesgue-measurable functions. This lemma generalizes some results for a class of Orlicz–Sobolev spaces. What matters here is the behavior of the integral, not the space

On the complex formation of iron(III) bromide in the space-demanding solvent N,N'-dimethylpropyleneurea and the structure of the trisbromoiron(III) complex i solution and crystalline state

Low-Cost Surrogate Modeling of Miniaturized Microwave Components Using Nested Kriging
PublicationIn the paper, a recently reported nested kriging methodology is employed for modeling of miniaturized microwave components. The approach is based on identifying the parameter space region that contains high-quality designs, and, subsequently, rendering the surrogate in this subset. The results obtained for a miniaturized unequal-power-split rat-race coupler and a compact three-section impedance transformer demonstrate reliability...
