Criteria for selection of working fluid in low-temperature ORC
PublikacjaThe economics of an ORC system is strictly linked to thermodynamic properties of the working fluid. A bad choice of working fluid could lead to a less efficient and expensive plant/generation unit. Some selection criteria have been put forward by various authors, incorporating thermodynamic properties, provided in literature but these do not have a general character. In the paper a simple analysis has been carried out which resulted...

Estimating the uncertainty of discharge coefficient predicted for oblique side weir using Monte Carlo method
PublikacjaSide weir is a hydraulic structure, which is used in irrigation systems to divert some water from main to side channel. It is installed at the entrance of the side channel to control and measure passing water into the side channel. Many studies provided side weir water surface profile and coefficient of discharge to measure water discharge diverted into the side channel. PublikacjaThis paper focuses on the development of a novel electrode based on boron-doped diamond nanosheet full-volume-enriched screen-printed carbon electrodes (BDDPE) for use as an impedimetric biosensor. Impedimetric biosensors offer high sensitivity and selectivity for virus detection, but their use as point-of-care devices is limited by the complexity of nanomaterials’ architecture and the receptor immobilisation procedures. The study...
