Modelling, thermography and digital processing of energy conversion processes
PublikacjaW pracy przedstawiono zagadnienia modelowania fizycznego i numerycznego procesów wymiany ciepła i konwersji energii. Do analizy wymiany ciepła w przestrzeni wypełnionej płynem zastosowano termografie krystaliczne i komputerowy system analizy otrzymanych laserowych obrazów.

Digital hearing aid with time and spectral transposition.

Conditions for measurement, analog-to-digital conversion and frequency analysis of irregularities of profile surface

Increasing the accuracy of time-varied-gain in digital echosounders
PublikacjaW artykule przedstawiono problematykę związaną z realizacją precyzyjnej korekcji kompensującej tłumienie dźwięku w wodzie w zastosowaniu do echosond cyfrowych.

Hybrid‐mode single‐slope ADC with improved linearity and reduced conversion time for CMOS image sensors
PublikacjaIn the paper, a single‐slope analog‐to‐digital converter (ADC) for integrated CMOS image sensor applications with an improved technique of conversion has been proposed. The proposed hybrid‐mode ADC automatically uses one of the following conversion techniques: time based (i.e. PWM) or voltage based (i.e. single‐slope). During the ADC operation, the clock frequency and reference voltage are modified in order to reduce the conversion...

Frequency and time domain characteristics of digital control of electric vehicle in-wheel drives
PublikacjaIn-wheel electric drives are promising as actuators in active safety systems of electric and hybrid vehicles. This new function requires dedicated control algorithms, making it essential to deliver models that reflect better the wheel-torque control dynamics of electric drives. The timing of digital control events, whose importance is stressed in current research, still lacks an analytical description allowing for modeling its...

FPGA-Based Implementation of Real Time Optical Flow Algorithm and Its Applications for Digital Image Stabilization
PublikacjaAn efficient simplification procedure of the optical flow (OF) algorithm as well as its hardware implementation using the field programmable gate array (FPGA) technology is presented. The modified algorithm is based on block matching of subsets of successive frames, and exploits one-dimensional representation of subsets as well as the adaptive adjustments of their sizes. Also, an l1-norm-based correlation function requiring no...

Wyniki porównano z rezulta-tami uzyskanymi technikami dekompozycji SVD.

Time variable gain for long range sonar with chirp sounding signal
PublikacjaThe main purpose of applaying Time Variable Gain (TVG) in active sonars with digital signal processing is to reduce dynamic range of echo signal and adapt it to the dynamic range of the analogue to digital conversion. With high transmission losses level, the dynamic range of the input signal in long range sonars can be very high and even exceed 200dB. When chirp sounding signals with matched filtration are used, sonars can raech...

Self-Testing of Analog Parts Terminated by ADCs Based on Multiple Sampling of Time Responses
PublikacjaA new approach for self-testing of analog parts terminated by analog-to-digital converters in mixed-signal electronic microsystems controlled by microcontrollers is presented. It is based upon a new fault diagnosis method using a transformation of the set of voltage samples of the time response of a tested analog part to a square impulse into localization curves placed in a multidimensional measurement space. The method can be used...
