PublicationArtykuł omawia wyniki numeryczne dotyczące pękania betonu uzyskane stosując trójwymiarowy model mezoskopowy z elementami kohezyjnymi. Obliczenia trójwymiarowe zostały wykonane dla zginanej belki betonowej. Beton został opisany jako model 3-fazowy. Mikrostruktura betonu odpowiadała zdjęciom tomograficznym. Wyniki numeryczne zostały porównane z wynikami doświadczalnymi. Uzyskano b. dobra zgodność między wynikami numerycznymi i doświadczalnymi.

PublicationArtykuł omawia ewolucję sieci sił kontaktowych w materiałach granulowanych podczas quasi-statycznego stanu aktywnego. Doświadczenia foto sprężyste zostały wykonane dla kulek szklanych. Doświadczenia zostały symulowane stosując metodę elementów dyskretnych (DEM). Zaprezentowano wyniki badań skłonności do tworzenia pęknięć zimnych metodą implant. Ustalono, że podczas spawania pod wodą stal 18G2A cechuje się zwiększoną wrażliwością na tworzenie się pęknięć zimnych w porównaniu ze spawaniem w środowisku powietrznym.

Nie stwierdzono zerwania w próbie stałego obciązenia, matomiast szybkie zniszczenie w próbie niskocyklowego zmęczenia.
