Influence of the internal electrolyte composition on amperometric sulphur dioxide sensor properties
PublicationIn this work amperometric sulphur dioxide sensor with a liquid electrolyte, a mercury sulphate reference electrode and solid polymer electrolyte (Nafion) covered with gold as a working electrode will be presented. The main goal of this research is to determine the influence of internal electrolyte composition on the sensor properties. Sensor filled with 1M and 5M sulphuric acid has been investigated.

CRVG - a new model for wireless networks topology generation
PublicationThis paper presents a new model of wireless network topology generator. Its main advantage is the possibility of relatively sparse networks generation. Because no iteration is needed, the model can be used for massive generation of networks for testing. The topological properties of produced graphs place them in the class of scale free networks, resembling real ones.

The influence of settable parameters of switching gasoline/LPG on exhaust toxic emissions
PublicationThe main objective of the studies shown in the paper was to develop a proper strategy for settable parameters of ECU to decrease total emission of toxic components in composition of exhaust during a cold start phase. PublicationComputer simulation results of the flux compression generator (FCG) loaded with an inductor has been presented in this paper. Simulation research has been performed in order to select the parameters of FCG load coil properly. Automatic Classification of Polish Sign Language Words
PublicationIn the article we present the approach to automatic recognition of hand gestures using eGlove device. We present the research results of the system for detection and classification of static and dynamic words of Polish language. The results indicate the usage of eGlove allows to gain good recognition quality that additionally can be improved using additional data sources such as RGB cameras.

Guido: a musical score recognition system
PublicationThis paper presents an optical music recognition system Guido that can automatically recognize the main musical symbols of music scores that were scanned or taken by a digital camera. The application is based on object model of musical notation and uses linguistic approach for symbol interpretation and error correction. Possibilities of heat transfer augmentation in heat exchangers with minichannels for marine applications
