Quasi-resonant DC-link voltage inverter with enhanced zero-voltage switching control
PublicationA new topology modification of the parallel quasi-resonant circuit for a dc-link voltage inverter enables regulation of the zero voltage dc-link subperiods and the dc-link voltage gradient settings. The proposed circuit is based on four MOSFET switches with free-wheeling diodes for controlled quasi-resonant recharging between L-C tank in order to assure inverter zero voltage switching (ZVS) conditions. Design optimization of the...

PublicationHazards are present in all workplaces and can result in serious injuries, short and long-term illnesses, or death. In this context, management of safety is essential to ensure the occupational health of workers. Aiming to assist the safety manage-ment process, especially in industrial environments, a Cognitive Vision Platform for Hazard Control (CVP-HC) has been proposed. The CVP-HC is a scalable yet adaptable system capable of...

Design of Intelligent Low-Voltage Load Switch for Remote Control System in Smart Grid
PublicationCurrent low-voltage load switches do not support remote disconnect/connect and real-time monitoring of a disconnect/connect state. Addressing to these issues, this paper presents a low-voltage load switch for a smart remote control system, which uses a one-chip microcontroller board and a DC step motor drive mechanism and provides the feedback on the switch status also. Arrears disconnect and full-pay connect control is implemented...

Optimal control at energy performance index of the mobile robots following dynamically created trajectories
PublicationIn practice, the problem of motion control of the wheeled mobile robots is often neglected. Wheeled mobile robots are strongly nonlinear systems and restricted by non-holonomic constraints. Motion control of such systems is not trivial task and usage of non-optimal control signals can lead to deterioration of the overall robot system’s performance. In case of autonomous application of the mobile robots all parts of its control...

The modal control vibration surveillance of manipulators as a mean of improving operating parameters of industrial robots.
PublicationNowe zastosowania robotów, a przede wszystkim - operacje szybkiego montażu, technika kosmiczna oraz operacje manipulacyjne dużymi masami (niekiedy przekraczającymi masę własną manipulatora), stawiają przed robotami coraz to większe wymagania dotyczące m.in. dużej dokładności i powtarzalności pozycjonowania. Spełnienie powyższych wymagań, bez redukcji poziomu drgań występujących w układzie nośnym manipulatora, jest trudne do uzyskania....

Partial hyperbolicity and central shadowing
PublicationWe study shadowing property for a partially hyperbolic diffeomor- phism f. It is proved that if f is dynamically coherent then any pseudotrajec- tory can be shadowed by a pseudotrajectory with “jumps” along the central foliation. The proof is based on the Tikhonov-Shauder fixed point theorem.

From polymer waste to potential main industrial products: Actual state of recycling and recovering
Publicationlastics have become widely used materials in everyday life due to their special properties such as durability, easy processing, light-weight and low-cost of production. However, because of their stable and non-biodegradable nature, postconsumer plastics become an issue to the environment. The growing amounts of waste are generated, as plastic products are commonly used only once before disposal. The alternatives of practical techniques...
