PublicationZbadano możliwości pomiaru koncentracji glukozy w materiale silnie rozpraszającym światło z wykorzystaniem techniki czasu przelotu. Badania przeprowadzono wykorzystując ''Intralipid'' będącym fantomem tkanki. Stężenie glukozy wynosiło 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000, 2000,4000 lub 8000 mg/dl. Wyniki pomiarów porównano z wynikami uzyskanymi na drodze modelowania matematycznego.

Low-energy positron scattering from gas-phase pyrimidine: A quantum treatment of the dynamics and a comparison with experiments
PublicationWe are reporting detailed quantum scattering calculations that describe the diffusion of a beam of low-energy positrons interacting with the pyrimidine target as a gas-phase partner. The calculations have employed an essentially ab initio model for the short-range correlation interaction and for the electrostatic interaction of an impinging positron and the electron+nuclear structure of the target molecule at its equilibrium geometry.

PublicationThe micellization in mixed aqueous systems based on a nonionic surfactant, heptaethylene glycol monotetradecyl ether (C14E7), and an anionic surfactant, cesium dodecyl sulfate, has been investigated by small-angle neutron scattering. Preliminary data on the behavior of the C14E7 aqueous solutions (with three concentrations, 0.17, 0.5, and 1%) mixed with a small amount of anionic surfactant, cesium dodecyl sulfate, are reported.
