Kompleksy są monomeryczne, dla nich wyznaczono strukturę krystalograficzną. Kompleks [Co{SSi(OBut)3(NH3)(L-pic)] o rdzeniu CoN2OS2 posiada dwa różne ligandy azotowe, zaś [Co{SSi(OBut)3(L-pic)] stanowi substrat do syntezy związku modelującego centrum katalityczne LADH.
