Revenues to the state budget from the sale of shares in state-owned banks in 1994-2000
Dane BadawczeOn June 14, 1996, a special law was passed on the merger and grouping of certain banks in the form of joint-stock companies. Pursuant to these regulations, the PeKaO S.A. banking group was established, which was the only entity of this type established in this way. Additionally, by the end of 1996, four out of nine regional banks were sold, i.e. Wielkopolski...

Wpływ współczynnika promienia walca i stosunku grubości warstw na odkształ- cenie warstwy twardej. The influence of radius of rolls coefficient and re-lations of thickness layers at the deformation of hard layers of bimetalic plate
PublikacjaW pracy przedstawiono analizę numeryczną walcowania blachy platerowanej 18 G2A i 0H18N10T.

The need for new transport protocols on the INTERNET
PublikacjaThe TCP/IP protocol suite is widely used in IP networks, regardless of diverse environments and usage scenarios. Due to the fact of being the basic concept of organizing the work of the Internet, it is the subject of interest and constant analysis of operators, users, network researchers, and designers. The Internet is a "living" organism in which new needs appear all the time. This is particularly important due to the emerging...

Angular welding distortion - one sided fillet weld
Dane BadawczeWelding is the basic method of joining ship hull elements during its construction. However, this method of joining structural elements generates shrinks. Shrinks causes deformation of the entire welded structure, both linear and angular. In the shipbuilding industry, there is a tendency to oversize fillet welds, at the design as well as manufacturing...

Study on Microstructural Characterization, Mechanical Properties and Residual Stress of GTAW Dissimilar Joints of P91 and P22 Steels
PublikacjaThis article deals with the dissimilar joining of two different grade Cr-Mo steel (2.25Cr-1Mo: P22 and modified 9Cr-1Mo: P91) for power plant application. The dissimilar butt-welded joint was produced for conventional V groove design by using the gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) process with the application of an ERNiCrMo-3 Ni-based super alloy filler. A microstructure characterization was performed to measure the inhomogeneity...

Adaptation of the arbitrary Lagrange–Euler approach to fluid–solid interaction on an example of high velocity flow over thin platelet
PublikacjaThe aim of this study is to analyse the behaviour of a thin plate with air flow velocities of 0.3–0.9 Ma. Data from the experiment and numerical tools were used for the analysis. For fluid–solid interaction calculations, the arbitrary Lagrange–Euler approach was used. The results of the measurements are twofold. The first one is the measurement of the flow before and after vibrating plate, i.e. pure flow plate, and the second consists...

Anti-plane waves in an elastic thin strip with surface energy
PublikacjaWe consider anti-plane motions of an elastic plate taking into account surface energy within the linear Gurtin–Murdoch surface elasticity. Two boundary-value problems are considered that describe complete shear dynamics of a plate with free faces or with free and clamped faces, respectively. These problems correspond to anti-plane dynamics of an elastic film perfectly or non-perfectly attached to a rigid substrate. Detailed analysis...

Morphology of damage inflicted on brittle polymer in lubricated contact under cyclic static load
PublikacjaIn this article morphology of damage inflicted on the polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) plate in static point lubricated contact with a ball made of five different materials under cyclic normal load has been presented. It is argued that the counterface material and lubricating film play an important role in the damage process and the extent of damage inflicted in the PMMA plate.
