ANALYZING TITLES OF ECONOMY NEWS TO UNDERSTAND IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON ECONOMICAL SITUATION
PublicationCovid-19 affected the whole world in a short time, causing serious panic and uncertainty in society. Because it was an unprecedented disease, the medical community has worked hard to find out how to deal with it, and it continues to do so. The rapid spread of the disease, the shortage of hospital capacity and the increase in deaths drove the whole world to a closure, so to speak. In this time period, life in the world came to a...

Effect of Thermal Treatment and Erosion Aggressiveness on Resistance of S235JR Steel to Cavitation and Slurry
PublicationS235JR steel is used in many applications, but its resistance to the erosion processes has been poorly studied. To investigate this resistance, cavitation, and slurry erosion tests were conducted. These tests were carried out at different erosion intensities, i.e., different flow rates in the cavitation tunnel with a system of barricades and different rotational speeds in the slurry pot. The steel was tested as-received and after...

Experimental Research of an Axial Piston Pump with Displaced Swash Plate Axis of Rotation
PublicationThe article describes the influence of displacement of the swash plate rotation axis on the efficiency of axial piston pumps. The dead space volume was defined as the volume of the working chamber in the extreme position of the piston at the end of the pumping phase and its variability was determined as a function of the position of the axis of rotation of the swash plate and the swing angle of swash plate. The influence of swash...

Nonlinear Excitation of the Non-Wave Perturbations by the Magnetoacoustic Waves in the Non-Isentropic Plasma
PublicationNonlinear excitation of slow modes by the planar magnetosonic perturbations in a plasma is discussed. Plasma is an open system due to radiation and external heating. This may stipulate enhancement of wave perturbations and hence the acoustical activity of plasma. Plasma is assumed to be a homogeneous ideal gas with infinite electrical conductivity. The straight magnetic field is orthogonal to the velocity of fluid’s...

Impact of Boundary Conditions on Acoustic Excitation of EntropyPerturbations in a Bounded Volume of Newtonian Gas
