A new approach to active noise and vibration control - [Part II: unknown frequency case]
PublicationThis paper presents a new approach to rejection of complex-valued sinusoidal disturbances acting at the output of a discrete-time stable linear plant with unknown and possibly timevarying dynamics. It is assumed that both the instantaneous frequency of the sinusoidal disturbance and its amplitude may be slowly varying with time and that the output signal is contaminated with wideband measurement noise. It is not assumed that a...

Applying of Doped Graphene Oxide Coatings for Corrosion Prevention
PublicationINTRODUCTION Graphene is a carbonaceous material characterized by extraordinary properties (high electron mobility, high surface area, high mechanical strength of 1100 GPa, very dense network hindering the passage of even the smallest helium atoms) [1]. Therefore, it found many applications, also as an anti-corrosive layer [2]. Electrophoretic Deposition (EPD) is one of the methods to deposit coatings. However, due to slight solubility...

Stochastic intervals for the family of quadratic maps
Open Research DataNumerical analysis of chaotic dynamics is a challenging task. The one-parameter families of logistic maps and closely related quadratic maps f_a(x)=a-x^2 are well-known examples of such dynamical systems. Determining parameter values that yield stochastic-like dynamics is especially difficult, because although this set has positive Lebesgue measure,...

Suitability study of hybrid model of electrodynamic actuator
PublicationThis paper presents the proposal of the hybrid circuit-field model of an electrodynamic actuator. The field model uses the inductor current as the input data which is obtained from the circuit model or experimentally. The field model implemented using the FLUX program makes it possible to easily determine the pressure distribution acting on the disc. The results have been verified experimentally.
