PublikacjaWe developed a simple and efficient method for the synthesis of functionalized unsymmetrical alkynyl sulfides under mild conditions in good yields. The designed method is based on the reaction of 5,5-dimethyl-2-thioxo-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinan-2-disulfanyl derivatives with lithium acetylides. PublikacjaThe new silicon–sulfur compound: disiloxane-1,3-dithiol was obtained from silicon disulfide and 2,6-diisopropylphenol in a reaction catalyzed by imidazole or 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine (DMAP). Crystal structure of disiloxane–1,3-dithiol reveals a close-to-linear Si–O–Si angle and a mutual trans position of the two hydrosulfido groups.
