Experimental study on shear localization in granular materials within combined strain and stress field
PublikacjaLokalizacja odkształceń stycznych w materiałach granulowanych była przedmiotem badań doświadczalnych podczas przemieszczania się sztywnej ścianki. Wykonano pomiary przemieszczeń stosując metodę korelacji obrazów cyfrowych. Natomiast pomiary średnich naprężeń wykonano stosując metodę foto-sprężystości. Zastosowano jako materiał granulowany piasek oraz szklane kulki.

Simulations of Shear Zones and Cracks in Engineering Materials Using eXtended Finite Element Method
PublikacjaNumerical simulations of cracks and shear zones in quasi-brittle materials are presented. Extended Finite Element Method is used to describe both cracks and shear zones. In a description of tensile cracks, a Rankine criterion is assumed. A discrete Mohr-Coulomb law is adopted for simulations of shear zones. Results of simple numerical tests: unixial tension, bending and biaxial compression are demonstrated.

PublikacjaW pracy omówiono wpływ długości charakterystycznej na szerokość lokalizacji odkształceń stycznych w materiałach kruchych. Obliczenia wykonano MES ma bazie nielokalnego sprężysto-plastycznego prawa konstytutywnego podczas ściskania jednoosiowego w płaskim stanie odkształcenia.
