Kinetic analysis of the reduction of a ternary system of Bi, Sb and Te oxides by hydrogen for BiSbTe3 synthesis
PublicationReduction in a hydrogen atmosphere of Bi2O3, Sb2O3 and TeO2 mixes oxides for the synthesis of BiSbTe3 was analysed. The reduction reactions of Sb2O3 and Sb2O4 oxides, as well as Bi2O3+Sb2O3 and Sb2O3+3TeO2 mix- tures, were also evaluated. The reduction of Sb2O4 is investigated for the first time. The reactions of the mixed oxides systems also were not the subject of research so far despite being used for synthesis of the (Bi,Sb)2Te3...

CIVILIZING THE PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PRACTICE IN POST-TRANSITION COUNTRIES
PublicationThe phenomenon of public participation is not so new to both planning theory and practice. In fact, involving local community in the decision-making process regarding local urban development directions is widely discussed and a number of various forms of these are being introduced. This paper deals with a number of

Remote command and control capabilities for data acquisition systems provided by delay-tolerant network mechanisms
PublicationThe paper presents an assessment of a remote device reconfiguration service employing a Delay Tolerant Network (DTN) mechanisms. This service has been implemented as a part of a communication appliance dedicated to marine data transfer in off-shore and open sea areas. The service has been successfully deployed and validation test have been completed. The practical use-case has been defined as remote access to the equipment operating...

On Wrinkling in Sandwich Panels with an Orthotropic Core
PublicationThis paper deals with the local loss of stability (wrinkling) problem of a thin facing of a sandwich panel. Classical solutions to the problem of facing instability resting on a homogeneous and isotropic substructure (a core) are compared. The relations between strain energy components associated with different forms of core deformations are discussed. Next, a new solution for the orthotropic core is presented in detail, which...

Effect of isovalent substitution on microstructure and phase transition of LaNb1−xMxO4 (M=Sb, V or Ta; x=0.05–0.3)
PublicationLaNb1−xMxO4 oxides with pentavalent elements of different ionic sizes (M=Sb, Ta and V, x=0.05–0.3) were synthesized by the solid state reaction method. Special interest was devoted to the antimony substituted lanthanum niobate which is a new material in this group. Rietveld analysis of the X-ray diffraction patterns was used to determine the influence of the material composition on unit cell parameters. On the basis of dilatometric...

Full Network Coverage Monitoring Solutions – The netBaltic System Case
PublicationThis paper defines the problem of monitoring a specific network, and more precisely – part of reporting process, which is responsible for the transport of data collected from network devices to station managers. The environment requires additional assumptions, as a specific network related to the netBaltic Project is to be monitored. Two new monitoring methods (EHBMPvU and EHBMPvF) are proposed, which priority is full network coverage....

Model of Nutrient and Pesticide Outflow with Surface Water to Puck Bay (Southern Baltic Sea)
PublicationCoastal basins are particularly exposed to the adverse impact of anthropogenic stress. In many places, despite only the seasonal increase in the number of residents, progressive urbanization and associated changes in the catchment characteristics are noticeable. Puck Bay is part of the Gulf of Gdansk and belongs to the Baltic Sea. Although the area of Puck Bay is covered by the Natura 2000 Network, this has not saved it from eutrophication...

Using UAV Photogrammetry to Analyse Changes in the Coastal Zone Based on the Sopot Tombolo (Salient) Measurement Project
PublicationThe main factors influencing the shape of the beach, shoreline and seabed include undulation, wind and coastal currents. These phenomena cause continuous and multidimensional changes in the shape of the seabed and the Earth’s surface, and when they occur in an area of intense human activity, they should be constantly monitored. In 2018 and 2019, several measurement campaigns took place in the littoral zone in Sopot, related to...
