Synthesis of some quaternary N-(1,4-anhydro-5-deoxy-D,L-ribitol-5-yl)ammonium salts
PublicationOpisano matodę pomyślnego usuwania izopropylidenowych grup ochronnych z 1,4-anhydro-2,3-O-izopropylideno-5-O-tozylo-D,L-rybitolu i czwartorzędowych soli N-(1,4-anhydro-5-deoksy-D,L-rybitolo-5-yl)amoniowych. Struktury otrzymanych związków zostały określone przy pomocy analizy spektralnej, w tym 2D NMR. Otrzymano także dane dyfrakcyjne dla monokryształów 1,4-anhydro-5-O-tozylo-D,L-rybitolu i jego pochodnych 2,3-O-izopropylidenowych.

Mercury in Different Feather Types from Great Cormorants (Phalacrocorax carbo L.) Inhabiting the Vistula Lagoon Ecosystem in Poland
PublicationTotal mercury levels in different feather types (down, contour, tail and flight) in Great Cormorants (Phalacrocorax carbo L.) were determined using CV-AAS. Feathers from Great Cormorants inhabiting the Vistula Lagoon ecosystem have an average Hg level of 7.14 ± 3.99 (μg/g w.w.). PublicationW pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań, których celem było zbadanie wpływu elicytacji przy użyciu ADR-4, na produkcję metabolitów wtórnych. Elicytacja ADR-4 zwiększyła 2-krotnie zawartość bergaptenu. Porównano również efektywność 3 technik ekstrakcyjnych stosowanych do izolacji feuranokumaryn, kumaryn i ich glikozydów z kalusa A.majus. Ekstrakcja przy użyciu techniki ASE okazała się najbardziej efektywna.
