Assessment and design of greener deep eutectic solvents – A multicriteria decision analysis
PublikacjaDeep eutectic solvents (DES) are often considered as green solvents because of their properties, such as negligible vapor pressure, biodegradability, low toxicity or natural origin of their components. Due to the fact that DES are cheaper than ionic liquids, they have gained many applications in a short period of time. However, claims about their greenness sometimes seem to be exaggerated. Especially, bearing in mind lots of data...

Miniaturization-Oriented Design of Spline-Parameterized UWB Antenna for In-Door Positioning Applications
PublikacjaDesign of ultra-wideband antennas for in-door localization applications is a challenging task. It involves development of geometry that maintains appropriate balance between the size and performance. Multi-Criterial Design of Antennas with Tolerance Analysis Using Response-Feature Predictors
PublikacjaImperfect manufacturing is one of the factors affecting the performance of antenna systems. It is particularly important when design specifications are strict and leave a minimum leeway for a degradation caused by geometry or material parameter deviations from their nominal values. At the same time, conventional antenna design procedures routinely neglect to take the fabrication tolerances into account, which is mainly a result...

Fast multi-criterial statistical analysis and design optimization of compact microwave couplers
Publikacja—A rapid statistical analysis and yield estimation of compact microwave couplers involving multiple performance parameters has been presented. The analysis is realized using a fast surrogate model representing appropriate characteristic points of the coupler response. Accelerated multi-objective design optimization of antennas by surrogate modeling and domain segmentation
PublikacjaMulti-objective optimization yields indispensable information about the best possible design trade-offs of an antenna structure, yet it is challenging if full-wave electromagnetic (EM) analysis is utilized for performance evaluation. The latter is a necessity for majority of contemporary antennas as it is the only way of achieving acceptable modeling accuracy. In this paper, a procedure for accelerated multi-objective design of...

The presented...
