Time Delay Estimation in Two-Phase Flow Investigation Using the γ-Ray Attenuation Technique.
PublikacjaTime delay estimation is an important research question having many applications in a range of technologies. Measurement of a two-phase flow in a pipeline or an open channel using radioisotopes is an example of such application. For instance, the determination of velocity of dispersed phase in that case is based on estimation of the time delay between two stochastic signals provided by scintillation probes. The proper analysis...

Sensorless field oriented control for five-phase induction motors with third harmonic injection and fault insensitive feature
PublikacjaThe paper presents a solution for sensorless field oriented control (FOC) system for five-phase induction motors with improved rotor flux pattern. Two multiscalar models are transformed from the 1-1 and 2-2 vector models developed in the 1st and 3rd harmonic planes. Based on the obtained multiscalar models the synthesis of dual multiscalar control is established. The obtained two multiscalar control systems can independently...

Comparison of noise reduction methods in radiometric correlation measurements of two-phase liquid-gas flows
PublikacjaTwo-phase liquid-gas flows occur frequently in the mining, energy, chemical, and petrochemical industries. One of non-contact methods used to analyse these flows is the gamma ray absorption method. However, the signals received from radiation detectors contain a significant stochastic noise, which makes them difficult to analyse. The article describes four methods of noise reduction in cross-correlation measurements of water-air...

Dataset of phase portraits of the fractional prey-predator model with Holling type-II interaction (without predator harvesting)
Dane BadawczeThe need for a fractional generalization of a given classical model is often due to new behaviors which cannot be taken into account by the model. In this situation, it can be useful to look for a fractional deformation of the initial system, trying to fit the fractional exponent of differentiation in order to catch properly the data.
