Simulation-driven size-reduction-oriented design of multi-band antennas by means of response features
PublikacjaThis study addresses the problem of explicit size reduction of multi-band antennas by means of simulation-driven optimisation. The principal difficulty of electromagnetic (EM)-based miniaturisation of multi-band antennas is that several resonances have to be controlled independently (both in terms of their frequency allocation and depth) while attempting to reduce physical dimensions of the structure at hand. The design method...

Low-cost multiband compact branch-line coupler design using response features and automated EM model fidelity adjustment
PublikacjaDesign closure of compact microwave components is a challenging problem because of significant electromagnetic (EM) cross-couplings in densely arranged layouts. A separate issue is a large number of designable parameters resulting from replacement of conventional transmission line sections by compact microstrip resonant cells. This increases complexity of the design optimization problem and requires employment of expensive high-fidelity...

Efficient Multiscale Finite Difference Frequency Domain Analysis Using Multiple Macromodels with Compressed Boundaries

Surrogate-Assisted Design of Checkerboard Metasurface for Broadband Radar Cross-Section Reduction
PublikacjaMetasurfaces have been extensively exploited in stealth applications to reduce radar cross section (RCS). They rely on the manipulation of backward scattering of electromagnetic (EM) waves into various oblique angles. However, arbitrary control of the scattering properties poses a significant challenge as a design task. Yet it is a principal requirement for making RCS reduction possible. Ontologically Aided Rule Model for the Implementation of ITIL Processes
PublikacjaThe implementation of ITIL processes in IT organizations can be seen as a set of interdependent projects. The sequence of the ITIL implementation relies on such parameters as scope, depth, the capability of processes and the maturity of the organization. These factors can form common patterns of ITIL implementation that might be expressed as rules. Also-to semantically reinforce such a model in its predictiveness and replicativeness-the...

The quadrature points are Greville abscissae associated with pth-order B-spline basis functions whose continuities depend on the specific...
