Generalized Gradient Equivariant Multivalued Maps, Approximation and Degree

We prove that a locally Lipschitz G-invariant mapping f from Rn to R can be uniformly approximated by G-invariant smooth mappings g in such a way that the gradient of g is a graph approximation of Clarke’s generalized gradient of f . This result enables a proper development of equivariant gradient degree theory for a class of set-valued gradient...

Equivariant Morse equation

As a consequence of this equation we give a relationship between the equivariant Conley index of an isolated invariant set of the flow given by x˙ = − ∇f(x) and the gradient equivariant degree of ∇f. Some multiplicity results are also presented.

Topological invariants for equivariant flows: Conley index and degree
PublicationAbout forty years have passed since Charles Conley defined the homotopy index. Thereby, he generalized the ideas that go back to the calculus of variations work of Marston Morse. Later, the index theory has evolved to cover such areas as discrete dynamical...

The equivariant spectral flow and bifurcation of periodic solutions of Hamiltonian systems

Nonlinear strain gradient and micromorphic one-dimensional elastic continua: Comparison through strong ellipticity conditions
PublicationWe discuss the strong ellipticity (SE) conditions for strain gradient and micromorphic continua considering them as an enhancement of a simple nonlinearly elastic material called in the following primary material. Recently both models are widely used for description of material behavior of beam-lattice metamaterials which may possess various types of material instabilities. We analyze how a possible loss of SE results in the behavior...

Creating and application of maps of concepts for dl ontologies
Niniejsza praca...

A novel dynamic noise maps visualization tool
PublicationW referacie przedstawiono aplikację realizujacą wizualizację dynamicznych map akustycznych zintegrowaną z multimedialnym systemem monitoringu hałasu. Moduł ten został oparty na nowym podejściu do wykreślania dynamicznych map, w referacie przedstawiono porównanie wyników uzyskanych metodami tradycyjnymi i zaproponowaną metodą. Słowa kluczowe: dynamiczne mapy, wizualizacja, monitoring, hałas, system GIS

On weak solutions of the boundary value problem within linear dilatational strain gradient elasticity for polyhedral Lipschitz domains
PublicationWe provide the proof of an existence and uniqueness theorem for weak solutions of the equilibrium problem in linear dilatational strain gradient elasticity for bodies occupying, in the reference configuration, Lipschitz domains with edges. The considered elastic model belongs to the class of so-called incomplete strain gradient continua whose potential energy density depends quadratically on linear strains and on the gradient of...

Computationally-efficient design optimisation of antennas by accelerated gradient search with sensitivity and design change monitoring
PublicationElectromagnetic (EM) simulation tools are of primary importance in the design of contemporary antennas. The necessity of accurate performance evaluation of complex structures is a reason why the final tuning of antenna dimensions, aimed at improvement of electrical and field characteristics, needs to be based on EM analysis. Design automation is highly desirable and can be achieved by coupling EM solvers with numerical optimisation...
