Quadratic stochastic operators as a tool in modelling the dynamics of a distribution of a population trait
PublicationQuadratic stochastic operators can exhibit a wide variety of asymptotic behaviours and these have been introduced and studied recently. In the present work we discuss biological interpretations that can be attributed to them. We also propose a computer simulation method to illustrate the behaviour of iterates of quadratic stochastic operators.

Equivariant Morse equation
PublicationThe paper is concerned with the Morse equation for flows in a representation of a compact Lie group. As a consequence of this equation we give a relationship between the equivariant Conley index of an isolated invariant set of the flow given by x˙ = − ∇f(x) and the gradient equivariant degree of ∇f. PublicationThe absorption spectra and quantum yields of the fluorescence of rhodamine 6 G are investigated in two different water-glycerol mixtures as a function of the rhodamine concentration.
