Podane zostały warunki dostateczne na istnienie jedynego rozwiązania, które jest granicą dwóch monotonicznych ciągów. Szybkość tej zbieżności jest również określona. Rozważana jest aproksymacja rozwiązań rozważanego problemu różniczkowo funkcyjnego przez rozwiązania odpowiedniego problemu różnicowego. W pracy analizowana jest zbieżność prezentowanych metod. Dowód zbieżności opiera się na technice porównawczej z nieliniowym oszacowaniem typu Perron'a dla danych operatorów.
