It allows for fast analysis and optimization of the waveguide structures, which contain rotatable tuning elements. Zastosowano filtr Hilberta o skończonej odpowiedzi ipulsowej (FIR od ang. finite impulse response) zagregowany z filtrem ułamkowo-opóźniającym. Curb-to-Barrier Face Distance Variation an a TB51 Bridge Barrier Crash Test Simulation
PublikacjaThis paper addresses the problem of road safety regarding barrier placement as relative to the curb. A short summary of existing regulations is presented. Numerical simulations using the explicit finite element system Ls- Dyna are shown. In the analysis, variable distance between the barrier and the curb is assumed. The obtained result reveals that the distance has little impact on the working width of the barrier.

Regularized Identification of Time-Varying FIR Systems Based on Generalized Cross-Validation
PublikacjaA new regularization method is proposed and applied to identification of time-varying finite impulse response systems. We show, that by a careful design of the regularization constraint, one can improve estimation results, especially in the presence of strong measurement noise. We also show that the the most appropriate regularization gain can be found by direct optimization of the generalized cross-validation criterion.
